Viu la Música: Family Music Sessions in Palma for Children Aged 0-5

Viu la Música is a unique family music session presented by Ali Domínguez in Palma, specially designed for children aged 0 to 5, accompanied by an adult. This bilingual activity (Catalan / Spanish — English Speakers welcome!) lasts approximately 40 minutes and offers an engaging introduction to music for young children.

Children are capable of learning music from birth, through active listening, just as they would a mother tongue. Ali Domínguez brings a universal approach to early childhood music education, where children explore music through active listening, play, movement, and connection with their family and teacher in a warm, welcoming environment that promotes learning.

Viu la Música sessions provide a creative space where children are immersed in a musical repertoire full of melodies and rhythms carefully selected to stimulate learning and encourage musical exploration. These sessions are designed to respect each child's developmental level and use instruments and materials that enhance musical interaction and creativity.

Our sessions are fun, family-friendly, emotional, and enriching—allowing both children and parents to enjoy the learning process. The primary goal is to create a bond between the family and music, building a deep appreciation for music in a supportive environment.

Ali Domínguez is a mother, violinist, and early music educator (0-6 years old) trained in Edwin Gordon’s Music Learning Theory and Dàmaris Gelabert's TotSona method. She has also participated in specialized seminars on early childhood music education, with renowned educators such as Paola Anselmi and Beth Bolton.
