Our English-language Book Club in Palma is a place to explore and discover new stories and valuable voices —a place to come together and share the love for reading, learning and meeting new people.
HOW IT WORKS:
New members are always welcome! Write us an e-mail or call us to join our Book Club. It's free, and you don't need to come every month if you're not available.
Every month, we choose a fiction or non-fiction book and read it entirely at home (or wherever we want...!). We will announce our pick online and in our Whatsapp group.

We meet the first Monday every month at 18h, at La Salina.

Joan Didion (1934-2021) was the National Book Award-winning author of many works of fiction and nonfiction. After earning a Bachelor's degree in English at the University of California, Berkeley, she started her literary career writing articles and essays for Vogue, Mademoiselle, Life, The Saturday Evening Post, and National Review, establishing herself as a prominent member of the New Journalism movement. Her books include The White Album, Play It As It Lays, and Slouching Towards Bethlehem.
